Coeur du Rouge is an all red Fashion Line which debuted in the 2013 Designer Showcase during RVA Fashion Week. The line was created on behalf of the American Heart Association and it’s Go Red For Women efforts in raising awareness and funds to assist women fighting their #1 killer– heart disease.

The showcase featured a survivor model, Andrea Woie, who is a heart attack survivor. Gaining various types of recognition, the line and it’s cause were featured on CBS 6’s ‘Virginia This Morning’.

Presentation designed considering the culture of the Richmond, Va based independent radio station WRIR (97.3). My cohort members and I constructed a strategic campaign for the station to raise it’s listenership and funding for full functionality. The station plans to implement most of our suggestions in June of 2013.

Spearheaded the partnership between the American Diabetes Association of Richmond and Mama J’s restaurant to create a health conscious menu and campaign during November, National Diabetes Awareness Month. Incentive for ordering from the special health conscious menu was a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate (to Mama J’s) after filling out a “Ticket-2-Kick It” stub.

GRFW Hair Salon Interest

Designed to generate Go Red For Women Month 2013 engagment amongst Hair Salon’s in Richmond. Sent to over 190 salon’s to encourage salon workers and customers to wear Red (removable) hair extensions to boldly show support for women fighting heart disease.
